Good morning, I pray that your day is off to a GREAT start. Today's message "Lewdness" is promiscuity giving sexual favors instead of being faithful to a spouse or to God "YHWY". We don't think of ourselves as being spiritually promiscuous, but we often spend more time seeking advice from magazines, television commercials, and Christian leaders who tickle the ears of there followers rather than speak truth. My brothers and sisters, its time we turn our eyes and ears to God and his Word. His Word is our basic instructions before leaving earth. A guide that teaches us righteous living. A guide that defines sin. A guide that displays grace, mercy, forgiveness, love, and consequences. A guide of promises. So, why is it that most people, professed Christians as well, will leave this book that would guide and teach them on their nightstand or coffee table and never open it? But yet, they will spend hours among hours daily on social media sites, fulfilling their own pleasures and desires.Then make the excuse that they are to busy to set apart time for God. I'm sure most don't even know what they are saying when they respond in this way. Please understand, that I'm not being critical, I'm just speaking the truth. Such is a time as this to refocus and evaluate how you are spending your time. I want to encourage you to set apart time daily to read your Bible and pray. You will be amazed of how God will speak to you through his Word. He outlines the promises for those who live in obedience according to his instructons. He will place verses on your heart that will become ingrained to your memory. He will speak to you through the night when you are at rest. For many years, I struggled with comprehension and used it for an excuse, but today, my Heavenly Father has given me the ability and gift to comprehend, memorize and apply many scriptures in my daily living. Praise be to my King! Forever grateful for what he has done in my life. If the desire of your heart is to know Him, he will do the same for you as he has done for me.
