Warrior,
Good morning, I pray that you enjoyed your extended weekend. Today’s message “Independence Day” As we celebrated Independence Day, a day in which we commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 by the Continental Congress declaring that the thirteen American colonies regarded themselves as a new nation, the United States of America, and no longer part of the British Empire. John Adams was one of a five member committee who helped prepare the Declaration of Independence which outlined and explained the decision to breakaway. He wrote to his wife and said that "the day of the signing, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty". My brothers and sisters I wonder how John Adams and his colleagues would feel today. Our nation has turned away from the principles and morals in which it was founded on. Today for the voice of few have silenced the voice of many. If we continue in this way God's army will fail and evil will prevail. We must place our trust in our King. His Word tells us, "blessed is the nation who follows His ways" For those nations He looks down from the heavens, He observes all humanity. From His dwelling place He gazes on all the inhabitants of the earth. It is He who fashions the hearts of all, who discerns all their deeds. No King is saved by his great army, no warrior is delivered by great strength. A horse is a false hope for victory, nor can its great strength save. But let us not forget that the eyes of our King "YHWH" are on all those who fear Him. For it is He who will examine our paths and deliver us from the snare of death. So let us not place our trust and dependency in man or the strength of nations, but let us place it in our God who spoke creation into existence. Have an AWESOME day and may you be a blessing to many!
“Psalms 33:13
Blessed is the nation whose God is LORD,the people he chose for his inheritance. ”
