Good morning, I pray that your week is off to a GREAT start. Today's message "Anger" I think it would be fair to say that we all have struggle with the sin of anger. Unrighteous anger is a sin because it violates God's command to love. It is a dangerous emotion that always threatens to leap out of control, leading to violence, emotional hurt, increased mental stress, and spiritual damage. Anger keeps us from developing a spirit pleasings to YHWH. Have you ever been proud that you didn't strike out and say what was really on your mind? Self-control is good, but YHWH wants us to practice thought-control as well. We must not forget that what we think about is what we bring about. I want to encourage you to guard yourself from falling prey to anger. For nothing good will come from anger whether displayed outwardly or held inwardly, both are damaging. We must let go and give our anger over to YHWH and by doing so, we will experience peace and rest that surpasses all understanding. May you live in peace and rest.
