MESSAGES

"Passover"

Warrior,

Good morning, I pray that you enjoyed the weekend and found time for some R&R. Today's message "Passover" Today many throughout the world are preparing for the celebration of Passover the feast of Unleavened bread. This begins tonight at sunset.  The Passover commemorates the exodus of the Jews from slavery in Egypt. The holiday originated in the Torah,"Old Testament" where the word pesach refers to the ancient Passover sacrifice (know as the paschal Lamb) it is also said to refer to the idea that YHWH "passed over" (pasach) the houses of the Jews during the 10th plague on the Egyptians, the slaying of the first born. The holiday is ultimately a celebration of freedom, and the story of the exodus from Egypt is a powerful metaphor that is appreciated not only by Jews, but many people of other faiths as well. I pray that you to will have a desire to learn and study the History of your faith and the importance of Passover. Have a GREAT day and may you be a blessing to many along the way!

“Feast of Unleavened Bread”
Now this day will be a memorial to you, and you shall celebrate it as a feast to YHWH throughout your generations you are to celebrate it as a permanent ordinance.
