Fellow Warrior,
I pray that your week has started off productive and that you are doing well. This is Isaiah, Cliff’s son, and I will be writing today’s message “Jealousy” In life, our faith tested in the Father is tested with many challenges that can affect our everyday lives. After Adam and Eve partook in the forbidden fruit, an evil plagued their human nature and would create a cycle throughout their generations to come. Jealousy one of the characteristics built into our evil human nature. When we view a situation or object that we find appealing, it’s only natural for us to want it. This causes us to focus on that and covet it if someone we know has obtained it. God wants nothing more than for us to focus on Him, then, ask for your desires, and He will grant you them only if they won’t distract you from the greater purpose of following Him. God has a righteous jealousy for your attention. Have you experienced what it feels like to be jealous of someone? It is a nasty feeling that is meant to disrupt our priorities and gain control. I encourage you to set your priorities straight, give yourself to God, and seek your earthly desires last because they have no value after you leave this world. Have a fantastic day and a wonderful rest of your week! Stay strong.
“You desire but do not have, so you kill. You cover but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with the wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. ”
