They have the power of discerning and judging properly as to what is true or right. For they are open to receive wise counsel and instruction. For the Bible tells us that the fear of YHWH is the beginning of knowledge. "If you will receive my words and treasure my commandments within you, make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding, for if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding, if you seek wisdom as silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will discern the fear of YHWH and discover the knowledge of YHWH".
