Good morning! I hope and pray that your day is starting off on a good note. This is Isaiah, Cliff's son, as a warrior in training, I will be writing a daily message once every week. I hope you enjoy them and I encourage you to give feedback! Today's message "Bigger Picture" Do you think it's important to understand the intended context of the Bible? Well, understanding the full purpose of His Word will lead you to the truth of the Father. If you just take one verse out of the Bible for a certain purpose that wasn't the intended purpose, that can be considered an offense to our God "YHWH" because it can cause confusion and God hates confusion. The Word is our instructions from God "YHWH" and even though the events in the Bible happened thousands of years ago, there is some way we can apply the lessons of that time in our lives. Taking a specific verse out of the Bible and using it in some other way than it was originally intended, is like trying to answer a question in a textbook and scanning the sections for where the answer to that question may be. This is not beneficial because if one wants to truly learn, one must read all the material and closely examine it in its entirety. You really should study the whole chapter and sometimes even the whole book itself to fully understand the purpose of a single verse. I pray that you will have the desire to understand and respect the deeper meaning behind every verse of the Bible. Have a GREAT day and a FANTASTIC weekend!
