Good morning. I hope you had a productive week. Today’s message “Judging Others” O - how easy it is to get caught up in being critical and judgmental of others. There's time we don't even realize we are doing this. Recently I had a conversation with a couple of my neighbors, the conversation started off as a friendly chat and by the end it was a roasting of the neighbors who live within the community. I was silent and had nothing to say, I don't know the neighbors outside of giving a friendly wave from time to time. I left the conversation with a heavy heart, sadden by what I heard. This experience was a reminder for me. I to struggle with being critical and judgmental of others. For I am thankful to our Messiah for allowing me to experience this and for providing me with this reminder. In the book of Matthew, chapter 7:1-4 our Messiah speaks of this. He says, "Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." When you stand before our heavenly Father in the day of judgement how will that look for you? Are you critical and quick to judge others? I think it would be fair to say, that we all can use a little work in this area. Have a GREAT weekend and be sure to make time for some "R&R" Rest and Reflection.
