Good morning, I pray that you enjoyed your weekend and that you found time for some R&R. Today's message "Consequence" This is the effect, result, or outcome of something occurring earlier. For one must understand that they will be held accountable for the life they live and the decisions they make. We see this throughout the Bible, starting with the Israelites, they chose to turn from YHWH and serve other gods, this resulted in Him removing His blessings and hand of protection causing them to becoming slaves in their own land. For this was the consequence for their actions. Then most know the story of King David and his affair with Bathsheba a married woman. For his actions resulted in the sword falling on his family "Death and Betrayal". Once again this was the consequence for His actions. Yes, we serve a God of Grace, Mercy and Forgiveness, but let us not ignore that He will hold us accountable and that there will be consequences for the life we chose to live.
