Fellow Warrior,
Good morning, I pray that your week was productive. This is Isaiah, Cliff's son, and I will be writing today's message "Creator and Creation" God created the existence of everything, so do you worship your creator or one of His creations? That is one big flaw with humans. Instead of worshiping our creator, we focus too much on giving time to things that don't bring us any closer to God and might even divide us from Him further. Self-satisfaction and materialistic objects are futile according to the writings of King Solomon, who gave into pleasure to see how it would affect his wisdom. He discovered that pleasure is like striving after wind and decided that this too was futile. Ecclesiastes is a great book that you should definitely read if you haven't yet done so. I encourage you to work on shifting your focus from the things of the world and placing your attention on the creator of the universe who made you in His likeness. Have a fantastic weekend and enjoy some R&R!
“All that my eyes desired I did not refuse them. I did not withhold my heart from any pleasure, for my heart was pleased because of all my labor and this was my reward for all my labor. Thus I considered all my activities which my hands had done and the labor which I had exerted, and behold all was vanity and striving after wind and there was no profit under the sun.”
