Good afternoon, I pray that you had a GREAT week. Today's message "Victim or Victor" We live among many who see themselves as victims. A victim mentality is when you blame everyone else for what happens in your world. And when you think that the future only holds bad things for you. This is a dangerous mindset and surely not the mindset of one who is of YHWH. Listen to the words from Psalms 10:14 "But you, YHWH, see the trouble of the afflicted you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you.You are the helper of the fatherless". For the Bible does not deny that there are victims in life, but what it does say is that if we commit our life to YHWH He will take our grief in hand and help us to become victors. For our Messiah was our example of someone who was victimized but overcame a victim mindset. At His lowest moment refusing to let His critics, accusers, and murders bring Him down. 1 Peter 2:22-23, Peter writes, "He committed no sin, neither was deceit fount in His mouth. When He was reviled, He did not revile in return, when He suffered, He did not threaten,but continued entrusting Himself to Him who judges justly" For there is no victim mindset in Jesus "Yeshua" In fact, even while they were crucifying him he said "Father forgive them. He is are example of how we are to live out our lives as victors. I pray that you follow the lead of our Messiah and that your life leads you to the ultimate victory.
