MESSAGES

"Our Humanity"

Fellow Warrior,
I pray that you're having a wonderful holiday week. This is Isaiah and I will be writing today's message "Our Humanity" We're all humans, right? Yes, but there is a fine line between someone who is filled with God's spirit and someone who is not. Our humanity is what has been thought to keep us civilized and ordered, however, sin can lead us down the road of depravity. The difference between a believer and a non-believer is that a believer leans on the Father in desperate times, while a non-believer crumbles under the pressure of this hateful world. Let's not forget that we should not just be in the Lord's presence when WE need or want something. The idea of humanity was inspired by God's own image but it was US who corrupted the intense bond we had with Him. We were to rule and reign over all the earth with God forever but we chose to give into temptation and started a cycle of hate and destruction. The takeaway from this is to remember that we're living images of God and it is up to us to live out the responsibility of showing His spirit through us. Happy Holidays and I pray that you enjoy the rest of your week. Stay strong!

Then God said, “Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
— Genesis 1:26
