Good morning, I hope that you enjoyed the Holiday weekend. Today's message "Trust & Obey" To trust is reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, of a person or thing; confidence. Obey is to carry out a command or instruction. For our faith is hinged on these two words. For our Heavenly Father has provided us with clear instructions of how we are to live according to His ways. In the Bible we can discover the many victories that came from those who trusted in His instructions and obeyed them. He has also provided us with clear instructions on those that choose not to trust and obey Him. For I encourage you to read the Word of our God. For many only know what they have been told by others. Did it ever occur to you that God wants to speak directly to you, For He knows you intimately and waits with open arms to receive you.
As a father, I love my children and there's nothing more gratifying to know they trust my instructions and obey them. For it is no different with our Heavenly Father. For those who trust and obey Him, He calls them His children. Are you His child? Will you make the effort that will open the door to your heart? Or will you continue to be fed by others and possibly be deceived? He is waiting to hear from you, will you make time. Think about that.
