Good morning, I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Today's message "Persecution" For the meaning of this word is a program or campaign to exterminate, drive away, or subjugate people based on their membership in a religious, ethnic, social, or racial group. To be persecuted for the sake of righteousness means to suffer for the sake of fidelity to God despite various types of coercion and attempts to force a person into compromise and apostasy. For Yeshua taught his disciples to expect persecution. So why should it be any different for us today. Many around the globe suffering for the sake of our King, some even to the point of death. For the word of our God tells us that "blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven". By saying theirs is the kingdom of heaven, Yeshua indicated that those who endure persecution for his sake will find entrance into the kingdom. For if we are not experiencing some measure of persecution for the sake of our King, we should be concern. Maybe its time to go deeper, wider and broader in living out the instructions provided by our King. Maybe we should be less concern with what others think and more concern on whether we are honoring our King. You think about that. Have a GREAT day and may you bless and encourage many along the way.
