Good morning, I hope and pray that you enjoyed the weekend and that you made some time to recharge. Today's message "Set Apart" For in the story of Moses, God "YHWH" gives direction to Moses and Aaron to go to Pharaoh and tell him to free his people or there will be great plagues that will come over Egypt. Pharaoh refuses to let the Israelite's go and because of his refusal, the plagues fell on the land of Egypt. Prior to the plague of flies consuming the land and households of the Egyptians, YHWH said "I will set apart the land of Goshen, where my people dwell, so that no swarms of flies shall be there, that you may know that I am YHWH in the midst of the earth. Thus I will put a division between my people and your people" And sure enough the swarms of flies came over the Egypt but not one fly spotted in Goshen. For what we can learn from this story is that know matter what is going on in the world, we must understand that our God has set us apart. For He is with us and goes before us. For He protects, provides and bring peace to those who love trust and obey Him. For you have been set apart from the world, therefore let us live with the understanding of what that means.
