Good morning, I pray that your week is going well. Let us be reminded that its a new year and an opportunity for a fresh start. Today's message "Faith" For faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.This goes against the thought process of one who is of the world. For they live by the saying "Seeing is Believing". But when it comes to the God we love, trust and obey, we do not see Him physically, but we believe by faith that He is indeed our savor and that the power of His spirit resides within us.
Through the seasons of life, we are faced with difficult situations that test our faith. We must guard from seeing these challenges through our sight only, otherwise we may become overwhelmed with worry and consumed with doubt and defeat. These thoughts would diminish the power of our God who is there to help us persevere and overcome. "For we must learn to live by faith, and not by sight. For faith is confidence in what we hope for and the assurance about what we do not see. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
