Good morning, I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Today's message "Hearer or Doer" For many hear the words spoken by our God but find it troubling to follow through and take action on it. Listen to these words shared from the book of James."For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man will be blessed in what he does." Let us strive to be doers of the word. As time progresses and our freedom as we know it diminishes, we must stand firm on the word of our God and become effective doers. For our Messiah was an example of an effective doer. He came to seek and save the lost. This required action. Are you a forgetful hearer or an effective doer? I pray that you take time to ponder on this question. Maybe it's time to refocus and realign your thoughts, words and actions. Think about that.
