Good morning, I pray that your week is off to a GREAT start. Today's message "The Weapon Against Temptation" Knowing and obeying God's "YHWH's Word is an effective weapon against temptations. For it is the only offensive weapon provided in the Christian's "armor" Ephesians 6:17 (The Word is referenced as the "Sword of the Spirit"). We are provided a great example of this when Jesus "Yeshua" was led by the Spirit into the wilderness for 40 days, he was tempted by Satin and he used scripture to counter the attacks, and so should we. But to use it effectively, we must have faith in YHWH's promises because Satin also knows Scripture and is adept to twisting it to suit his purpose. Obeying the Scriptures is more important than simply having a verse to quote. We can become more learned in our knowledge and understanding by making a conscious effort to read, study and seek truth in the book of instruction. "The Bible". I encourage you to read the scriptures daily and apply them to your life. Then your "sword will aways be sharp. Have an AWESOME day and may you be a blessing to many!
