Good morning, I hope and pray that you had a great weekend. Today's message "Pride Destroys" For the destruction of one will come when pride takes over their ways. We are provided with the story of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon who came to Jerusalem and besieged it. For He was a prideful king who imparted his unjust ways on the people. But at the end, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob had His way with the King. His pride was turned into humility and his worship of false gods into the worship of the true God. Listen to these words spoken from the King himself after being humbled and restored. "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar praise, exalt and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just, and He is able to humble those who walk in pride." For the God we serve is the true God. He is just in everything and pride is not of Him. We must guard from becoming prideful, for we know that pride leads to the destruction of a person. I pray that if you are one who struggles with pride, I pray that you will be convicted by the Spirit of our God and that you turn away from your prideful ways before it destroys you.
