Fellow Warrior,
I pray that your week was productive and that you're having a great start to your morning. This is Isaiah and I will be writing today's message "Determination" What does it take to be one of His? We must have the drive to do everything in our power to honor and please our Father's commands. Let's take the book of Nehemiah for example. A man by the name of Nehemiah, cup-bearer to King Artaxerxes of Persia, learned that his people, the Jews, were facing tough times due to enemies attacking the city of Jerusalem. Nehemiah cried out for direction from God on what to do and our Father filled Nehemiah with the determination to face the King of Persia to ask for permission and assistance in building a wall that would protect Jerusalem from the constant invasions. Nehemiah ended up getting permission from the king and set out on his mission. After he inspected the ruins of the fallen walls, he sought out the help from his Jewish brethren. The King of Persia's advisers scoffed at Nehemiah's project and constantly would try to find ways to stop him. It didn't matter what they challenged him with because he persevered and got done what he was determined to do. They were just trying to intimidate us, imagining that they could discourage us and stop the work. So I continued the work with even greater determination. (Nehemiah 6:9) The wall of Jerusalem was built and the Jewish people were saved by God once again. What can we take away from the story of Nehemiah? Well, if we are one of His, we should strive to have great determination in everything we do for our God just like Nehemiah. I pray that this has helped you in some way. Have a fantastic rest of your day and a wonderful weekend. Stay strong!
